Back in March, Google announced that sites would soon be penalised in search results if they are not mobile friendly. From 21st April 2015, their algorithms changed and websites that are mobile friendly started to become higher ranked in research results that ones that are not.

The first study since the changes discovered that 39% of small business owners reported a drop in Google rankings by three places or more and as a result traffic was down as much by 50%!
