Google is Penalising Non-Mobile Friendly Sites
Now more than ever it is important to make sure your website is mobile responsive! Google recently announced in a blog post that they are changing their algorithms. From the 21st April 2015, websites that are mobile friendly will be ranked higher than ones that are not.
All our websites are responsive, meaning that your website will adapt across a wide range of devices with minimum need to re-size, pan or scroll. So whether your website is being viewed on a desktop or a mobile the website will fit the screen – eliminating the need for a separate mobile site.
However, Google is not the only reason your website should be mobile-friendly. Responsive websites enhance the user experience – enabling visitors to consume content on your website through the device of their choice at anytime. Irrespective of whether they are on a desktop, smartphone, tablet, games console or smart-TV.
